Updated Design
With my blog's design getting some attention recently, artist Tom Stoelwinder of Model Concept and I decided it was time to start polishing its look. You may notice that we've upped the line height for more readability, worked on the comments bar, replaced the "pages" navigation sticky and replaced it with a more useful "recent posts" area, and also added a nifty virtual vcard for you guys to download, as well as a cool favicon. Got any more peeves with this current iteration? Let me know in the comments, feedback would always be appreciated!

Ok, thanks. I agree with that, I think we'll up the vertical height of the bar by a couple of pixels, that should do the trick.
Flash text on the right, it always looks awful on sites when scrolling in Safari. Its not so bad on here but on blogs that use it for post titles I just can't read them its too jarring. As you only have 3 items there and the titles are not dynamic you may as well just use gifs for them.
tom is obsessive about SIFR...
the vcard image seems a bit blurry

Yeah, you're right about the flash text, it's unnecessary. I'll replace them with images soon.
My only peeve...
Why can't my site look as good!
Great design. Is it possible to get this theme for WordPress?
Thanks,
Boris

Boris, the theme is for personal use only. Sorry!
I understand, no problem.
The only thing I'd change would be the favicon... it just isn't really in keeping with the quality of the rest of the site (i.e., it doesn't really make your site stand out among other favicons).
Other than that, congrats on such an amazing site design!
Holy shit... nevermind. It just changed on my browser. Disregard my last comment. Nice job!

July 08th, 2006 at 1:49pmthe comment bar is too skinny IMO not enough room between the edge of the bar and the text
