Holy Cow
The competition is getting fierce at My Dream App. This morning, contestant Kevin Capizzi posted a mockup video of how a full screen option on his forum browsing app, Hijack, might work. And it’s pretty damn gorgeous. Props to him for stepping it up!
Hijack has been doing pretty well in the contest, and grabbed the second most votes in last week’s round of voting. I have a feeling it’s going to have a shot for #1 with this mockup.
Read his post, download the high-res version here, and if you like it, digg it!

Well, wow. Now I want Hijack to win even more. It already had my vote in the first place, but now it has just confirmed how well put together the idea for Hijack is and I really hope we get to see it developed. Man that would save so much time!
Your site is broken, dude. The main page doesn’t load. I get that registered page?!

Schaut selbst. [...]

October 02nd, 2006 at 10:14amI’d be interested in a slight change in the voting procedures for one round (maybe the next one).
It seems like almost every reality show has a section where people vote OFF the island. So maybe the next round of voting could be for which apps people like the LEAST. I think this is a different measure of the market for an app. Right now, there’s little that signals that I like an app a LOT and another one just a little.
Or maybe a voting round could include $50 in virtual cash that you have to split among different apps.
