Gah! My room-mate at Uni got an invite to MacHeist and I'm left wondering what's going on from the outside!

I do hope I can actually get an invitation into this thing, as I followed Disco's development and MyDreamApp all the way. It'd be a shame to miss out on something this cool.

Anyway, sounds great! I want to know who Hubert is!

Me too, I've been really psyched about this. I've been hunting like mad, following the changes to different websites re: MacHeist. I even found a free app already (no, I won't tell anyone how). Is there a next step?

Oh, come to think of it, I DID solve puzzle, got the freebie, found a site that reverts to MDA and found an app that will love monkeys but isn't accessible right now. Seems like I got everything, except for the invite. *hint* *hint*

Is everyone who signed up for MacHeist going to get an intive or is it random? Cause a random few out of thousands doesn't sounds too promising for me.

That Hubert chase was a lot of fun, it was great going through and searching differetn websites for the cute little monkey. Now all I have to do is wait for an invite so I can join the rest of the party.

i'm a pretty faithful MDA fan as well. i guess my mistake was not commenting in the forums. even though i read them obsessively. alas.

Seriously, is there an invite criteria? I followed MDA from the start, signed up for MacHeist news on the first day, supported Disco from day one...Yet no invite....common!

If it makes everyone feel any better, I signed up on MacHeist as soon as it became available, posted about Hubert on my blog, got it on digg, solved the mystery, and I STILL haven't gotten an invite.

i'm sooo ready for macheist (I think), and am eagerly awaiting my invite. i signed up as soon as I found out about it (last week I think), but am still waitin' patiently

I entered in my email yesterday and after seeing James' comment about the sign up field not being long enough for his email I check if my email was alright. Mine gets cut off by one character, I didnt notice if it was this way yesterday. How can I submit my email correctly? Thanks!

If you guys signed up on the site, expect an invite over the next couple days. (Promise.) And you might want to check your spam filter, as we HAVE been getting our invites stuck in them ocassionally.

Hell macheist seems way more interesting then mda.. and hey, mda was really interesting.

Guess it's just a matter of time before I actually can try it... damn he who shouldn't be mentioned by getting my interested.

I was all set to play. Hey, even got an invite! But when I clicked on it, I got this error message:

I tried to use my invite ticket but it said the username was taken and to try again. Next time it said my ticket has already been used.

I received a second invite shortly after I posted. (Thanks!) But then got the same error Sean got. Must be a hiccup in the system somewhere.

The same thing happened to me, I thought that they might have my name as a username, but they didn't, and when I tried again, it was claimed. You really need to fix that problem?

Just wondering, I was with My Dream App and all of the stuff that you work on I love. I have been chasing Hubert around and still did not get a MacHeist ticket. I just loaded my e-mails into the invite system after waiting, hoping before. Can you spare an invite please!

This looks like some fun, hopefuly im going to have more time to spend on this event than i did on MDA (i had enuff time to votte and that was all sorry), so im getting hyped although i do wonder who or what sent me the invite as im sure i dnt remember signing up for somthing but then again i havnt had my iMac around for 2 weeks (logic board blew) so maybe im just forgetful hehe
